장시간 심정지…입원 한 달만에 사망
유족-수영장 측 '엇갈린 주장'

서울의 한 실내수영장에서 자유수영을 하던 50대 여성이 갑자기 물 위에 떠오른 뒤 숨졌습니다.안전요원은 있었는지,제때 적절한 조치가 있었는지 등을 경찰이 수사하고 있는데,네이버뉴스.뉴스유족과 수영장 측 주장은 엇갈립니다.

심가은 기자가 취재했습니다.

서울 도봉구의 한 실내수영장입니다.

지난달 9일 이곳에서 자유수영을 하던 50대 여성이 갑자기 물에 떠올랐습니다.

[유족 : 경찰한테 얘기 듣기로는 고모(사망한 여성)가 한 3분 정도 물에 빠진 채로 있었던 거로 보인다고 얘기를 들었어요.그대로 방치되듯이 있었던 것 같은데…]

그러다 수영을 하던 다른 사람이 발견을 했고,수영장 안에 있던 강사가 심폐소생술을 했습니다.

뒤이어 도착한 경찰과 구급대가 병원으로 옮겼지만 심정지 상태로 40분이 흐른 뒤였습니다.

이 여성은 입원 한달만에 숨을 거뒀습니다.

유족 측은 당시 안전요원이 없었다고 했습니다.

[유족 : 경찰이 CCTV 확인했을 때는 당시에 현장 (안전)요원이 보이지 않았다(고 했어요.)]

자동심장충격기도 제대로 사용되지 않았다고도 했습니다.

진단서에는 뇌출혈로 의식이 없는 상태에서 물속에서 질식해 심정지가 온 걸로 보이고 산소가 부족해 뇌손상을 입어 수술 등을 하지 못했다고 적혀 있습니다.

유족 측은 뇌출혈을 일으킬 지병은 없었고,네이버뉴스.뉴스제때 조치가 있었다면 벌어지지 않았을 일이라고 주장했습니다.

[유족 : 수영을 배우러 간 사람이 거기서 죽어서 나올 수 있는 게 이게 말이 되는…]

수영장 측은 "안전요원은 있었고 자동심장충격기를 사용하려 했지만 미숙했던 것 같다"고 밝혔습니다.

경찰은 당시 CCTV 영상 등을 토대로 정확한 사고 경위는 뭔지,네이버뉴스.뉴스수영장 대처가 적절했는지 등을 조사하고 있습니다.
