국내 조선업계의 2024년 6월 세계 선박 수주량이 크게 줄어든 것으로 나타났다.

5일 영국 조선해운시황 전문기관인 클락슨리서치에서 집계한 '6월 전세계 선박 수주량'에 따르면 6월 전 세계 선박 수주량은 243만CGT(100척)으로,2006 월드컵 한국전년 동기(442만CGT) 대비 45%가 줄었다.

국가별로 보면 중국은 190만CGT(74척,2006 월드컵 한국78%)를 수주하며 수주량 세계 1위에 등극했다.한국은 22만CGT(8척,9%)로 2위를 기록했다.

한국 조선업계의 수주가 부진한 것은 카타르에너지의 대규모 LNG선 수주 이후 추가 발주가 줄어든 것이 영향을 끼친 것으로 풀이된다.

상반기(1~6월) 전세계 누계 수주는 2401만CGT(903척)로 전년 동기 2471만CGT(1120척) 대비 3% 감소한 것으로 집계됐다.이중 중국은 1540만CGT(615척,64%)로 1위를,2006 월드컵 한국한국은 594만CGT(132척,2006 월드컵 한국25%)로 2위를 기록하고 있다.

선박 가격 지표인 클락슨 신조선가지수는 187.23으로 지난해 6월(170.91)에 비해 10%,2020년 6월(126.93)과 비교하면 48% 상승했다.

선종별 선가는 LNG운반선 2억6400만달러,2006 월드컵 한국초대형 유조선(VLCC) 1억3000만달러,초대형 컨테이너선(22~24k TEU)은 2억6850만달러 등이다.
