비스타케이 호텔 월드컵 제주 - 2024년 실시간 업데이트

[디지털데일리 백지영기자] 국내 저가 커피 프랜차이즈 컴포즈커피가 필리핀 대표 패스트푸드 기업 '졸리비 푸즈'에 매각된다.

2일(현지시간) 블로버그통신 등 주요 외신에 따르면,비스타케이 호텔 월드컵 제주졸리비 푸즈는 컴포즈커피 지분 70%를 인수한다.컴포즈커피 전체 지분 매각 금액은 3억4000만달러(한화로 약 4700억원)로 이중 졸리비푸드는 2억3800만달러에 70% 지분을 갖게 된다.

졸리비 푸즈에 따르면,비스타케이 호텔 월드컵 제주나머지 지분 30% 가운데 5%는 졸리비 푸즈가 보유한 타이탄펀드가,비스타케이 호텔 월드컵 제주25%는 사모펀드 엘리베이션이 인수한다.

졸리비 푸즈는 이날 공시를 통해 "한국의 1인당 커피 소비는 세계 3위이며 한국 저가 커피 시장이 빠르게 성장하고 있다"며 컴포즈커피 인수 배경을 설명했다.

컴포즈커피는 지난 2014년 부산 기장군 기장읍에서 설립됐으며 창업자 양재석 씨가 지분 100%를 보유하고 있다.지난 2022년 말 기준 한국에서 이디야커피(3005개),비스타케이 호텔 월드컵 제주메가커피(2156개)에 이어 세 번째로 많은 1901개의 가맹점을 보유하고 있다.

컴포즈커피의 지난해 매출액은 889억원으로 전년보다 21% 늘었으며 영업이익은 367억원으로 47% 증가했다.영업이익률은 41%에 달한다.

앞서 컴포즈커피는 지난 2022년에도 매각 주간사를 선정하고 회사 매각을 시도한 바 있다.컴포즈커피를 인수할 졸리비 푸즈는 필리핀 최대 외식기업으로 지난해 매출액은 약 5조7700억원을 기록했다.
