13(현지시간) 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 따르면 황 CEO는 지난 1~8일 6거래일간 엔비디아 주식 72만 주를 매도했다.6월과 7월 매도한 금액까지 합하면 5억6700만달러(약 7710억원)에 달한다.
이번 매각은 현지 당국에 신고된‘내부자거래 사전거래 계획’(10b5-1)에 따른 것이다.10b5-1 매매 계획은 기업 내부자가 특정 시기에 해당 기업 주식을 팔기로 증권사와 계약을 맺는 것이다.최대주주 등은 지분 매각 이전 SEC에 매도계획서를 의무적으로 제출해야 한다.이 계획에 따르면 황 CEO는 내년 3월까지 엔비디아 주식 7억달러어치를 처분할 예정이다.
증권가에선 최근 기술주 조정 국면에서 매도가 이뤄졌다는 점에서 “운이 좋다”는 평가를 내리고 있다.공교롭게도 회사 주가가 연초 대비 2배 이상 오른 시점에 팔았기 때문이다.이날 엔비디아 주가는 전날 대비 6.53% 급등한 116.14달러로 마감했다.미국 인플레이션 둔화로 기술주가 대부분 상승한 영향이다.이사회 임원인 마크 스티븐스와 제이 퓨리 부사장도 지난달 각각 1억2500만달러,웬즈데이 카지노1000만달러어치의 회사 주식을 처분했다.
