정부와 3개 공공기관,지자체 등은 오늘(16일) 인구 감소 지역을 활성화하기 위해 철도와 관광 상품을 공동 개발하는 것을 내용으로 업무 협약을 체결했습니다.

이를 통해 다음 달부터 인구 감소지역 관광지에 방문을 유도하는 자유여행상품과 패키지 상품들이 판매될 예정입니다.

인구 감소지역 관광지를 철도로 방문할 경우 요금을 최대 50%를 할인받을 수 있으며,야구 선수 장비디지털 관광주민증을 이용하면 숙박과 관람,야구 선수 장비체험 등 여행상품에서도 할인 혜택을 받을 수 있습니다.

이밖에 농촌 지역의 관광지를 방문할 때 대중교통비를 최대 30% 할인해주는 농촌관광 투어패스 도 추진됩니다.

이번 업무협약에는 국토교통부,행정안전부,야구 선수 장비문화체육관광부,농림축산식품부 등 정부 부처와 한국철도공사,한국관광공사,한국농어촌공사 등 공공기관,야구 선수 장비그리고 인구감소지역 및 관심지역으로 지정된 지자체 가운데 23개 시군이 참여했습니다.
