(서울=뉴스1) 김재현 기자 = 조주완 LG전자(066570) CEO(최고경영자)가 방한하는 크리스티아노 아몬 퀄컴 사장 겸 CEO를 만난다.두 CEO는 인공지능(AI)과 전장(차량용 전기·전자 장비) 분야 협력 확대 방안을 논의할 것으로 보인다.

10일 업계에 따르면,모두의슬롯조 CEO와 아몬 CEO는 11일 오후 서울 여의도 LG트윈타워에서 회동한다.

논의 테이블에는 온디바이스 AI 협업 강화 방안이 오를 것으로 보인다.최근 LG전자는 최고기술경영자(CTO) 산하에 온디바이스 AI 전략 총괄 조직을 신설했다.

전장 부문에 대한 협력 확대도 다룰 가능성이 있다.퀄컴은 LG전자의 전장 사업을 담당하는 VS사업본부에 차량용 텔레매틱스·인포테인먼트용 칩 등을 공급하고 있다.

LG전자는 모바일사업부를 운영하면서 퀄컴과 연을 맺었다.현재 전장뿐 아니라 태블릿PC·오디오 제품 등에 대한 협력도 이어가고 있다.

한편 아몬 CEO는 다른 기업 수장들을 만날 가능성이 있다.삼성전자(005930) 등이 거론된다.앞서 아몬 CEO는 지난달 10일 미국에서 이재용 삼성전자 회장과 만나 AI 반도체와 차세대 통신용 칩 등 미래 반도체 시장에서의 협력 확대 방안을 논의한 바 있다.
