TM포럼은 전세계 약 110개 국가의 800여 글로벌 통신사·빅테크 기업이 참여하는 글로벌 협의체다.지난해 이어 코펜하겐에서 대규모 컨퍼런스를 개최한다.

SK텔레콤은 유영상 대표를 비롯해 정석근 글로벌/AI테크 사업부장 등 임원진이 참석한다.지난 2월 MWC에 이어 두번째로 글로벌 텔코 AI 라운드테이블도 동시 개최하기로 했다.

라운드테이블 행사에는 글로벌 통신·빅테크 관계자 약 250명이 참석한다.유 대표가 오프닝 스피치로 막을 연다.이후 정 사업부장,야구 경기수에릭 데이비스 SK텔레콤 AI Tech Collaboration담당 등이 얼라이언스 멤버사들과 함께 무대에 올라 패널토의를 진행한다.

정 사업부장은 기조연설에서 텔코LLM,야구 경기수AI 개인화 서비스,야구 경기수AI데이터센터(AIDC) 등 SK텔레콤이 보유한 AI 솔루션과 글로벌 산업 생태계 전반에 가치를 부여하는 AI 컴퍼니 비전을 소개한다.

정 사업부장은 "이번 TM 포럼에서 통신사가 만들어가는 AI 비전을 제시하고‘글로벌 텔코 AI 얼라이언스’의 비전을 글로벌 무대에서 선보일 수 있게 되어 기대된다"며 "빅테크들과 함께 글로벌 시장에서 AI 생태계를 리딩할 수 있도록 노력할 것"이라고 말했다.
