손님에게 가짜 양주를 먹여 정신을 잃게 만든 뒤 술값을 부풀려 받은 일당이 경찰에 붙잡혔습니다.

서울 관악경찰서는 유흥주점 업주와 웨이터 등 17명을 특수강도 등 혐의로 검거하고 이중 업주 2명을 구속했다고 오늘(5일) 밝혔습니다.

이들은 지난 2022년 9월부터 지난 2월까지 취객을 유흥주점으로 유인한 뒤 가짜 양주를 먹여 돈을 뜯어낸 혐의를 받습니다.

돈을 뜯긴 피해자만 43명에 이르고,나폴리 축구 중계피해 금액은 2억 원 대에 이르는 것으로 파악됐습니다.

이들은 손님에게 가짜 양주를 먹여 정신을 잃게 만든 뒤,폰뱅킹 비밀번호를 알아내 현금을 인출하는 등의 방식으로 돈을 뜯어낸 것으로 조사됐습니다.

또 이들은 피해자를 유인하는 호객꾼,나폴리 축구 중계술을 권하는 접대부,나폴리 축구 중계인출책 등으로 역할을 분담해 조직적으로 움직인 것으로 확인됐습니다.

이들은 가짜 양주를 고가의 양주로 속여 술값을 청구했는데,가짜 양주는 제조사에서 5천 원~7천 원에 사들이거나 손님이 남긴 양주에 물 또는 값싼 양주를 탄 것으로 조사됐습니다.

또 피해자들이 경찰에 신고할 경우에 대비해 신용카드를 주는 장면 등을 카메라로 촬영해두거나 피해자를 인근 모텔에 데려다 놓는 치밀함도 보였습니다.

경찰은 지난해 12월 피해 신고를 접수한 뒤,유흥업소에 대한 압수수색을 진행했고 국과수 등 감정을 거쳐 피해자들에게 제공된 양주가 가짜임을 확인했습니다.

경찰 관계자는 “최근 신림역 일대 유흥업소에서 유사한 피해 신고가 반복 접수되고 있다"면서 "유흥주점의 불법 영업을 엄정 수사하여 반드시 처벌될 수 있도록 하겠다"고 밝혔습니다.
