(서울=뉴스1) 한재준 기자 = LG전자(066570)가 '로봇 구독 서비스'(RaaS)로 기업간거래(B2B) 사업 확대에 나선다.

LG전자는 이달부터 공감지능 서빙 로봇 '클로이 서브봇'과 튀김요리용 로봇 '튀봇' 구독 서비스를 시작한다고 1일 밝혔다.

LG전자는 RaaS로 B2B 고객들의 초기 구매 비용과 제품 관리 부담을 덜어준다는 계획이다.

LG전자는 구독 서비스 이용 고객에게 6개월마다 △자동 감지시스템 등 제품 상태 점검 △외관 파손 점검 △외관 클리닝 등 관리 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.

클로이 서브봇과 튀봇의 구독 계약 기간은 3년으로 월 구독료는 각각 66만 원,프리미어리그 전승우승140만 원으로 책정됐다.

LG전자는 향후 구독 로봇 종류를 추가해 구독 서비스를 확대한다는 방침이다.로봇 제품이 추가되면서 LG전자가 운영 중인 구독 서비스 제품은 총 22종으로 늘어났다.

LG전자는 구독 서비스를 핵심 사업으로 키워 서비스 시장 변화를 선도한다는 계획이다.LG전자의 가전 구독 사업 매출은 지난해 1조 원으로 기록,프리미어리그 전승우승전년 대비 30% 이상 성장했다.

이성진 LG전자 구독영업담당은 "구독 경제 트렌드에 맞춰 보다 많은 고객이 LG 만의 차별화한 로봇 설루션을 경험하도록 서비스를 지속 강화할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
