KT가 고려대학교가 AICT(인공지능과 통신기술의 합성어) 응용기술의 실질적 사업화를 위해 협력한다.

이번 협약은 AI 기술 완성도 제고 및 사업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 R&D(연구개발) 과제 추진,울버햄프턴 원더러스 fc 대 번리 경기신속·실질적 협업을 위한 KT-고려대 공동연구개발센터 설립,산학연구개발용 GPU(그래픽처리장치) 공동 활용 등을 포함한다.

인공지능(AI) 기술과 관련 시장의 빠른 변화에 대응하고 학계와의 긴밀한 협업을 위해 KT 기술혁신부문장인 오승필 부사장과 고려대학교 연구부총장 유혁 교수를 공동연구개발센터의 연구소장으로 선임한다.

또 KT와 고려대학교는 각 3명씩 총 6명의 자문위원회를 구성해 AI 응용기술 공동연구개발 프로젝트 수행 과정에 필요한 의사결정을 지원한다.
