경기 화성 일차전지 생산업체 아리셀 공장 화재 현장에서 숨진 23명 전원의 신원이 확인된 가운데 사망자 중에는 40대 부부가 포함돼 있었던 것으로 파악돼 안타까움을 더하고 있습니다.

오늘(28일) 경찰 등에 따르면 이번 화재 사고 사망자인 40대 남성 A 씨와 40대 여성 B(중국 국적) 씨는 부부 관계였던 것으로 확인됐습니다.

A 씨는 중국 태생이었으나 이후 귀화해 한국 국적을 취득했습니다.

B 씨는 중국 국적인 상태로 국내에서 거주해 온 것으로 전해졌습니다.

화재 사고 이후 현재까지 A 씨의 시신은 화성유일병원 장례식장에,건대 디저트B 씨의 시신은 화성장례문화원에 각각 안치돼있습니다.

경찰은 전날 사망자 23명의 신원 확인을 모두 완료한 결과 이 같은 사실을 확인하고 유족에게 통보했습니다.

A 씨의 친지들은 국내에 거주 중이며,건대 디저트B 씨의 직계 가족 등은 중국에 있는 상황입니다.

경찰 관계자는 "A 씨 부부에게 국내에서 함께 지내던 다른 가족이 있었는지에 대해서는 아직 확인된 바 없다"며 "부부의 양가 유족은 B 씨의 가족이 국내에 입국하는 대로 둘의 시신을 같은 장례식장에 안치하는 방안 등을 논의할 것으로 보인다"고 말했습니다.

한편 지난 24일 오전 10시 30분쯤 화성시 서신면 전곡리 아리셀 공장에서 난 불로 23명이 숨지고,건대 디저트8명이 다쳤습니다.

부상자 중 1명은 위독한 상태입니다.
