경기도 포천의 한 초등학교 교사가 여학생 7명을 성추행한 혐의로 검찰에 넘겨졌다.

9일 뉴스1에 따르면 경기북부경찰청 여성청소년수사대는 최근 미성년자를 강제 추행한 혐의로 20대 남성 A씨를 불구속 송치했다.

A씨는 지난해 자신이 근무하는 포천시 한 초등학교에서 자신의 학급 여학생 7명을 추행한 혐의를 받는다.

A씨의 범행은 피해를 당한 여학생들의 학부모가 경찰과 도 교육청에 신고하면서 드러났다.

학교 측은 곧바로 실태 파악에 나선 뒤 A씨와 학생들을 분리 조치했으며 도 교육청 역시 A씨의 직위를 해제했다.

해당 사건을 약 반년 동안 수사한 경찰도 A씨의 혐의가 인정된다고 판단,중고 야구용품그를 검찰에 송치했다.
