국내형스포츠 - 2024년 실시간 업데이트

젊은 시절 나라를 위해 희생한 참전용사들에게 지방자치단체들이 '참전명예수당'이란 걸 지급합니다.

그런데,이 수당이 지역에 따라 크게 차이가 나 논란 거리가 되고 있습니다.

조휴연 기자의 보도입니다.

[리포트]

북한의 침략에 맞서 대한민국을 지켜낸 '6.25전쟁'.

역시 남과 북으로 갈려 총부리를 겨눈 베트남 전쟁.

'자유' 수호를 위해 우리 군인들이 큰 희생을 치렀습니다.

베트남전 참전용사들은 이제는 70대가 됐고,국내형스포츠6.25 참전용사들은 아흔을 훌쩍 넘겼습니다.

전쟁의 참상은 아직도 생생하고,국내형스포츠몸도 어디 하나 성한 데가 없습니다.

이들에겐 지방자치단체에서 '참전명예수당'이란 걸 지급합니다.

그런데,그 액수가 천차만별입니다.

우선,시도별로 보면,국내형스포츠제주가 가장 많습니다.

1인당 월 25만 원입니다.

강원도는 월 6만 원이고,제일 적은 전라남도는 월 3만 원입니다.

여기에,시군의 수당이 더해지면서 격차는 더 벌어집니다.

화천이 월 40만 원으로 가장 많습니다.

반면,국내형스포츠춘천은 17만 원,국내형스포츠원주와 강릉은 각각 15만 원씩입니다.

같은 6.25 참전 용사라도,화천에 살면 46만 원을 받는데,춘천에 살면 절반밖에 못 받습니다.

[염기원/대한민국 6.25참전 유공자회 춘천시지회장 : "다 늙어서 내일 모레 내일 모레 하는 사람들이 화 안 나겠어?생각해 봐.다른 시군은 40 몇만 원 주는데 우린 이게 뭐냐?이렇게 얘기 다 한다 이거에요."]

시군에선 수당 지급 대상자의 숫자나 시군의 재정 규모가 다르기 때문에 어쩔 수 없다는 입장입니다.

[장복순/춘천시 복지지원과장 : "참전유공자분들께서도 다른 데랑 좀 맞춰줬으면 하는 의견은 있으셨지만 저희가 그래도 지금 거기에 맞춰서 하기에는 예산이 너무 방대해져 가지고."]

같은 참전용사가 지역에 따라 다른 대우를 받지 않도록 통일된 기준을 만들자는 요구가 꾸준히 제기되고 있지만,좀처럼 바뀌지는 않고 있습니다.
