방통위는 신제품 갤럭시 폴더블폰 출시를 앞두고 터무니없이 저렴한 구매 금액을 제시하는 경우 할인 조건과 할부 원금 등을 꼼꼼하게 확인할 필요가 있다고 주의를 당부했다.

방통위는 “온라인상에서 일명‘성지점’은 온라인 카페·블로그·밴드 등의 판매채널을 통해 최신 스마트폰을 저렴하게 구매할 수 있다며 은밀하게 영업하고 있는데,실제로는 지원금 지급을 위한 별도 계약 체결을 요구하거나 통신사에서 제공하는 선택약정할인,신용카드 제휴 할인 등을 유통점에서 스마트폰을 할인하는 것처럼 설명하고 이용자들을 현혹할 수 있다”고 설명했다.또한,“스마트워치,팔로우 토토 사이트태블릿 등을 무료로 증정하겠다며,고가 요금제나 부가서비스 가입을 유도하는 경우도 발생할 수 있다”고 덧붙였다.
