KBS는 오늘 입장문을 통해 "공연 예술 녹화 중계 프로그램인 'KBS 중계석'과 관련해 시청자들께 우려와 실망을 끼친 점에 사과드린다"고 밝혔습니다.

앞서 이날 오전 0시 KBS 1TV에 방영된 'KBS 중계석'은 올해 6월 29일 예술의전당에서 공연된 오페라 '나비부인' 녹화본을 내보냈습니다.

이탈리아 작곡가 자코모 푸치니가 작곡한 '나비부인'은 미국인 장교와 일본인 여성의 사랑을 다룹니다.

두 주인공의 결혼식 장면에서는 일본 국가인 기미가요가 연주되고,이윤열 도박여주인공은 일본 전통 복식 기모노를 입습니다.

한편,이윤열 도박 광복절에 기모노와 기미가요가 공영방송에 등장하자 비판의 목소리가 나왔습니다.

이에 대해 KBS는 "당초 7월 말 방송 예정이었다가 올림픽 중계 때문에 뒤로 밀려 광복절 새벽에 방송됐다"며 "바뀐 일정을 고려해 방송 내용에 문제가 없는지,이윤열 도박시의성이 적절한지 확인하고 검토하지 못한 제작진의 불찰"이라고 설명했습니다.

이어 "앞으로 이런 일이 다시 발생하지 않도록 방송 경위를 진상 조사해 합당한 책임을 묻는 등 제작에 더욱 주의를 기울이겠다"고 덧붙였습니다.
