부산시와 KB국민은행이 '우리동네 사회가치경영(ESG) 센터' 5호점 조성과 '부산형 해비타트 챌린지' 사업 추진을 위해 손을 맞잡는다.

부산시는 4일 오전 부산시청 국제의전실에서 KB국민은행과 함께 어르신들의 안전하고 건강한 노후를 위한 업무협약식 및 기부금 전달식을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 박형준 부산시장을 비롯해 이재근 KB국민은행장과 서영익 기관영업 그룹 대표 부행장,실시간 축구 경기이혁 부산 울산 경남지역그룹 대표 부행장 등이 참석한다.

협약에 따라 두 기관은 친환경 노인일자리 '우리동네 ESG 센터 조성' 및 '부산형 해비타트 챌린지 사업' 추진을 위해 공동 협력할 것을 약속한다.

시는 이번 협약과 관련해 각 사업의 운영·지도·감독·홍보 등 업무를 총괄하고,실시간 축구 경기KB국민은행은 사업비 지원에 나선다.

KB국민은행이 이날 부산시에 전달하는 기부금 2억9000만원은 '우리동네 ESG 센터' 5호점 조성과 '부산형 해비타트 챌린지 사업'에 사용될 예정이다.

'우리동네 ESG 센터'는 폐플라스틱 수거 등 탄소중립 실천과 자원순환 환경교육 등을 통해 지속가능한 친환경 노인 일자리를 창출하고 있다.

'부산형 해비타트 챌린지' 사업은 '아이스버킷 챌린지'의 집 고쳐주기 버전으로 노인 가구의 노후화된 주택을 고령층이 생활하기에 안전하고 편리한 구조로 개조해 주는 것이다.KB국민은행이 제1호 사회공헌 기업으로 이번 사업에 참여하게 된다.

시는 올해 우리동네 ESG 센터 3~5호점 조성을 위해 민간 기부금 총 9억1000만원을 확보했으며,실시간 축구 경기연내 모두 개소할 계획이다.

박형준 시장은 "어르신들을 위한 지역사회의 관심과 따뜻한 사회적 공동체 붐이 지속해서 이어질 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
