구독자 1000만명을 보유한 먹방 크리에이터‘쯔양’(본명 박정원)으로부터 돈을 갈취했다는 의혹을 받는 유튜버 관련 사건이 수원지검으로 이송될 전망이다.

수원지검 형사2부(정현승 부장검사)는 15일 유명 유튜버의 공갈 사건을 수사 중인 서울중앙지검 등 2곳의 검찰청에 사건을 수원지검으로 이송해달라고 요청했다고 밝혔다.

앞서 유튜브 채널 가로세로연구소는 쯔양이 과거를 빌미로 다른 유튜버들에게 협박당했다고 주장했다.이후 쯔양은 직접 유튜브 방송을 통해 전 남자친구에게 지속적인 폭행과 협박에 시달리며 착취당했다고 밝혔다.

이에 검찰은 쯔양을 협박한‘사이버레커’(사회적 관심이 쏠린 주제로 콘텐츠를 만들어 올리는 사람들을 이르는 표현) 유튜버들에 대한 수사에 착수한 상태다.

사이버 레커 중 한명으로 지목된 유튜버 구제역(본명 이준희)은‘쯔양 협박’사건으로 최근 서울중앙지검에 고발돼 수사 받고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.

검찰 관계자는 “실체를 밝혀 일괄적인 처분을 내릴 수 있도록 신속하고 엄정하게 수사를 진행하겠다”고 밝혔다.
