(서울=연합뉴스) 이재영 기자 = 아프리카돼지열병(ASF) 확산을 저지하기 위해 환경부와 경북 서남부 지방자치단체들이 총력 대응에 나선다.

환경부는 경북 서남부 9개 시군에서 야생 멧돼지 수색과 포획을 확대한다고 8일 밝혔다.

야생 멧돼지 위치를 실시간 파악할 수 있는 열화상 드론을 갖춘 수색팀 10개팀과,사람이 접근하기 어려운 곳의 멧돼지 폐사체도 찾을 수 있는 탐지견 8마리를 투입할 예정이다.위치추적장비(GPS)가 탑재된 포획 틀 900여개도 설치한다.

멧돼지 수색과 포획이 확대되는 9개 시군은 상주,영천,군위,김천,구미,칠곡,카지노 3화 다시보기 소나기티비청도,경산,경주다.이 중 상주,카지노 3화 다시보기 소나기티비영천,군위는 이미 야생 멧돼지 ASF 감염 사례가 나온 곳으로 환경부는 이 3개 지자체를 '하한선',9개 지자체 전부를 '최남단 방어선'으로 설정했다.

경북은 현재 ASF 확산세가 거센 지역으로 7일에도 예천군 한 양돈농가에서 ASF가 발생했다.올해 6번째 양돈농가 확진 사례다.

환경부는 "멧돼지는 9월께부터 행동반경이 넓어져 농경지에 출몰하는 경우가 늘어난다"라면서 "농작물 수확기 전인 지금이 산악을 중심으로 한 야생 멧돼지 포획에 중요한 시기"라고 설명했다.

국내에선 2019년 10월 경기 연천군에서 야생 멧돼지 ASF 감염 사례가 처음 나온 뒤 현재까지 43개 시군에서 4천108건의 감염 사례가 나왔다.
