(서울=뉴스1) 박재하 기자 = 덴마크 정부가 삼양식품의 '핵불닭볶음면' 등 일부 제품을 리콜하기로 했다.

12일 영국 BBC에 따르면 덴마크 수익식품청(DVFA)는 이날 성명을 내고 핵불닭볶음면 3X Spicy,아시안컵 방송 채널핵불닭볶음면 2X Spicy,아시안컵 방송 채널불닭볶음탕면을 리콜한다고 밝혔다.

DVFA는 이들 제품의 캡사이신 수치가 "소비자가 급성 중독에 걸릴 위험이 있을 정도로 매우 높다"라며 "해당 제품을 가지고 있다면 폐기하거나 구입한 매장에 반품해야 한다"라고 전했다.

또 DVFA는 특히 어린이들에게 매우 매운 음식이 해가 될 수 있다며 주의를 당부했다.

이와 관련해 온라인에서는 열띤 토론이 벌어졌다.특히 많은 이들은 덴마크인들이 매운 음식에 내성이 없다는 주장을 펼쳤다.

한 누리꾼은 인터넷 커뮤니티 '레딧'에 "후추를 살짝 뿌린 새우튀김도 너무 맵다고 생각하는 덴마크 친구가 있다"라며 "이 라면이 독이라고 생각하는 것도 놀랍지 않다"라고 주장했다.

BBC는 이 라면이 다른 나라에서 리콜된 적은 없는 것으로 보인다고 짚었다.
