1980년대 PC 통신의 후신인 포털 서비스 '천리안'이 오는 10월 서비스를 마치고 역사 속으로 사라집니다.

천리안 운영사 미디어로그는 사업 환경이 바뀌며 더는 양질의 서비스를 유지하기 어려워 오는 10월 31일 천리안 서비스를 끝내기로 했다고 밝혔습니다.

천리안은 오는 11일부터 메일과 주소록 백업 기능을 열고 기존 이용자들의 자료 저장과 이메일 이전을 지원할 예정입니다.

천리안은 지난 1985년 PC 통신으로 출범했으며 지난 2007년과 2012년 각각 서비스를 중단한 하이텔과 나우누리에 이어 39년 만에 추억 속으로 사라지게 됐습니다.
