어제 저녁 제주 최고층 건물인 38층 드림타워에서 화재가 발생해 직원 16명이 연기를 흡입하고 투숙객 200여 명이 긴급 대피하는 사고가 있었습니다.

오늘 화재 원인을 밝히기 위해 합동 감식이 진행되고 있습니다.

고민주 기자가 보도합니다.

[리포트]

드림타워 건물 1층 주차장에 소방대원과 경찰이 집결합니다.

어제 발생한 드림타워 6층 사우나 화재 원인을 밝히기 위한 현장 합동 감식이 시작됐습니다.

제주도 소방안전본부를 비롯해 경찰과 국립과학수사연구원 등 10여 명이 참여했습니다.

감식반이 주목하는 건,메가 슬롯 주소최초 불이 시작된 위치입니다.

화재 당시 건식 사우나를 이용하던 여성이 처음 연기를 목격했다는 진술 등을 토대로 건식 사우나 시설의 건조 히터 과열로 불이 난 것으로 추정하고 정확한 화재 원인을 조사하고 있습니다.

어제 저녁 7시 10분쯤 38층 제주 최고층 건물로 호텔과 콘도,메가 슬롯 주소카지노 등이 들어선 드림타워 복합리조트 6층에서 불이 났습니다.

갑작스런 화재에 직원 16명이 연기를 마셨고 이 가운데 14명이 병원으로 옮겨졌습니다.

호텔과 수영장 등을 이용하던 투숙객 200여 명은 불안에 떨며 긴급 대피해야 했습니다.

드림타워에서는 2년 전에도 옥상에서 불이 나 투숙객과 이용객이 긴급대피하는 소동이 벌어지기도 했습니다.
