오늘(18일)은 대한의사협회가 동네병원들의 집단 휴진,그리고 대규모 집회를 예고했던 날입니다.하지만 문을 닫은 병원 숫자도 집회에 참석한 의사 숫자도 정부나 경찰이 한 집계와 의협의 추산 사이 격차가 컸습니다.국민적 비판 여론,레알마드리드 일정불매운동 움직임이 부담이 된 거 아니냐는 분석이 나오는데 그럼에도 의협 지도부는 "피해는 의사를 비난하는 사람들과 환자들이 보게 될 것"이라며 무기한 휴진을 예고했습니다.

대한의사협회가 오늘 하루 집단휴진을 강행하고 집회를 연 겁니다.

주최 측 추산은 4만명,레알마드리드 일정하지만 경찰은 1만2000명이 모였다고 밝혔습니다

[임현택/대한의사협회장 : 전공의들을 범죄자 취급한 것으로도 모자라 이제는 노예 취급을 하며 다시 강제 노동을 시키겠다고 하고 있습니다.]

집단휴진에 동참한 동네병원 의사도 발언에 나섰습니다.

[성세용/의사 : 언론 그리고 일부 시민단체들 제발 정신 차리십시오.지금 정부가 추진하는 잘못된 의료 정책이 추진되면 의사들을 비난하고 있는 분들과 환자들 그리고 그 국민들이 피해를 보는 것입니다.]

무기한 휴진까지 언급했습니다.

[임현택/대한의사협회장 : 의사들의 정당한 요구를 정부가 받아들이지 않을 경우 우리는 오는 27일부터 무기한 휴진에 들어갈 것입니다.]

의사협회는 의대생 증원 재검토와 필수의료 정책 패키지 수정,그리고 전공의와 의대생에 대한 모든 행정명령 소급 취소 등 3가지를 요구하고 있습니다.

정부는 불법 휴진을 전제로 한 요구사항은 받아들일 수 없다는 입장이어서 사태 해결의 실마리를 찾기 어려운 상황입니다.
