인텔 주가 6.15% 급등
반도체株 순환매 장세
“하반기 실적 반등할 것”

인텔.사진=연합뉴스만년 저평가 신세였던 미국의 반도체 기업 인텔 주가가 돌연 급등세다.반도체 사이클 기대감에 순환매 장세가 펼쳐지는 모양새다.

8일(현지 시간) 미국 증시에 따르면 인텔 주가는 6.15% 급등했다.전 거래일인 5일에도 인텔 주가는 2.53% 올랐다.

인텔 주가 상승 관련 월가에선 뚜렷한 해석을 내놓지 못하고 있다.주가 상승 동력을 발생시킬 특별한 호재가 발생하지 않았기 때문이다.

다만 인공지능(AI) 특수가 쏘아 올린 반도체 특수로 인해,그동안 상승 장세에서 제외됐던 소외주로 매수세가 유입되고 있다는 분석이 나온다.

앞서 인텔 주가는 올해 들어 최대 40%까지 하락했다.중앙처리장치(CPU) 시장 경쟁사인 어드밴스트 마이크로 디바이시스(AMD)가 연중 50%까지 상승한 것과 대비된다.

인텔은 전통의 텃밭 PC와 서버 CPU 설계 시장에서 고전하면서 실적이 급격히 악화됐다.2023년 인텔의 순이익은 8억5400만달러(약 1조1820억원)로 지난 2021년 대비 73% 급감했다.

높은 AI칩 수요를 발판으로 비메모리 업계가 앞서 나가고,최근엔 메모리 판가도 상승하며 수익성이 개선되고 있다.반도체 사이클이 도래함에 따라 하반기엔 인텔의 실적이 반등할 것이란 기대감이 시장에 유입되고 있다.

멜리우스 리서치는 보고서를 통해 “AI 상승 장세에 동참하지 못했던 종목들이 격차를 따라잡을 것”이라며 “인텔은 강력한 계절적 반등을 경험할 수 있다”고 밝혔다.

DT인베스트도 인텔의 AI 프로세서 개발 상황을 고려할 때,739 로또주가가 지나치게 저평가돼 있다고 지적했다.

DT인베스트는 “인텔의 연구·개발(R&D) 지출은 엔비디아,739 로또AMD보다 크다”며 “인텔의 AI 가속기는 엔비디아의 현재 주력 제품인 H100 칩보다 성능 면에서도 우수하다”고 밝혔다.
