일본 도쿄도지사 선거에서 고이케 유리코(小池百合子·71) 현 지사의 3선 당선이 확실하다는 출구조사가 나왔다고 NHK 방송이 7일 보도했다.
NHK 출구조사 결과에 따르면 이날 오전 7시 시작돼 오후 8시 종료된 도쿄도지사 투표에서 고이케 현 지사의 예상 득표율은 40%가 넘는 것으로 집계됐다.경쟁 상대였던 렌호 전 참의원(상원) 의원과 이시마루 신지 전 히로시마현아키타카타 시장은 20% 초반대에 그친 것으로 나타났다.
고이케 지사는 TV 메인 앵커 출신으로 1992년 일본신당 소속으로 참의원 의원에 당선돼 정계에 입문했다.이후 자민당에 입당해 환경상과 방위상 등을 지냈다.2016년 도쿄도지사 선거에 무소속으로 출마해 여성 최초 도쿄도지사가 됐으며 2020년 재선됐다.이번에 3선에 성공하면 앞으로 4년 더 도쿄도를 이끌게 된다.
대략적인 개표 결과는 이날 밤늦게 나올 것으로 보이며,재봉 450개표는 8일 새벽 완료될 전망이다.한편 이번 도쿄도지사 선거는 역대 가장 많은 56명의 후보가 출마해 주목을 받았다.
