응급의학과 전문의 8명 중 4명 사직

[천안·아산=뉴시스]박우경 기자 = 순천향대 천안병원 응급실이 의료진 부족으로 16일부터 운영이 중단된다.

이날 순천향대 천안병원 등에 따르면 오전 8시부터 응급실 운영이 멈춘다.응급의학과 전문의들의 사직서 제출로 인한 공백이다.

현재 남아있는 응급의학과 전문의는 총 4명 뿐이다.당초 8명이 응급실을 지켜왔다.

최근까지 8명의 의료진이 24시간,유벤투스 선수365일 근무해 왔지만 절반의 의료진이 사직 의사를 밝히면서 운영에 차질이 생겼다.

병원 측은 이날 오전 8시부터 다음날 오전 8시까지 24시간 동안 응급실 운영이 중지된다고 밝혔다.

17일부터 21일까지는 저녁 8시부터 다음날 오전 8시까지 야간 시간대 운영이 중단된다.

병원 관계자는 "최대한 빠른 시간 안에 응급실을 정상 운영하기 위해 노력하고 있다"고 말했다.
