(서울=연합뉴스) 장하나 기자 = 올해 국내 대기업 대표이사의 평균 연령은 4년 전인 2020년보다 1.1살 많은 59.6세로 집계됐다.서울대 출신 최고경영자(CEO)의 비중도 이전보다 줄어든 것으로 나타났다.

3일 기업데이터연구소 CEO스코어에 따르면 2024년 지정 매출 기준 500대기업 중 대표이사 이력이 조사 가능한 405곳(528명)을 대상으로 분석한 결과,호르헤 멘데스올해 기준 대표이사의 평균 연령은 59.6세로 집계됐다.

이는 4년 전인 2020년(531명)의 평균 연령(58.5세)보다 1.1세 늘어난 것이다.

60대 대표이사의 비중이 50대를 초과하는 '고령화' 현상도 뚜렷했다.

2020년 52.5%(279명)로 과반을 차지했던 50대 대표이사는 올해 40.0%(211명)로 12.5%포인트 감소했다.반면 같은 기간 60대 대표이사는 35.0%(186명)에서 48.7%(257명)로 13.7%포인트 늘었다.

30∼40대 대표이사는 6.6%(35명)로 4년 전보다 1.1%포인트 줄었으며,70대 이상인 대표이사는 4.7%(25명)로 4년 전과 비슷했다.

서울대 출신 대표이사는 총 113명(21.4%)으로 4년 전(135명,25.4%)보다 4.0%포인트 감소했으나,전체에서 차지하는 비중은 여전히 가장 높았다.

연세대와 고려대 출신 대표이사는 각각 64명(12.1%)으로,4년 전과 비교하면 각각 15명(2.9%포인트),4명(0.8%포인트) 늘었다.

이들 'SKY' 대학 출신 대표이사 비중은 45.6%(241명)로,2020년 45.9%(244명) 대비 소폭 감소했지만,여전히 절반 수준을 차지했다.

이어 한양대(23명),성균관대(20명),부산대(19명),호르헤 멘데스서강대(19명),호르헤 멘데스한국외대(15명),인하대(11명),호르헤 멘데스경북대(8명) 등의 순이었다.

비(非) 서울권 소재 대학 출신 대표이사는 99명(18.8%)으로,2020년(103명,호르헤 멘데스19.4%)보다 소폭 줄어든 반면 외국 대학 출신 대표이사는 2020년 45명(8.5%)에서 2024년 54명(10.2%)으로 1.7%포인트 늘었다.

고졸 출신 대표이사는 2020년과 2024년 모두 3명이다.

500대 기업 대표이사의 전공은 경영학이 123명(23.3%)으로 가장 많았다.이어 경제학 61명(11.6%),화학공학 43명(8.1%) 등이 다수를 차지했다.

이어 기계공학 27명(5.1%),법학 26명(4.9%),전기·전자공학 21명(4.0%),정치외교학 18명(3.4%) 순으로 집계됐다.
