블룸버그통신은 6일(현지시간) 월가의 시장분석업체인 뉴 스트리트 리서치가 엔비디아 주식에 대한 투자 의견을 기존 '매수'에서 '중립'으로 하향 조정했다고 보도했다.월가에서 엔비디아의 목표주가를 잇달아 상향하고 있는 것과 대비된다.

피에르 페라구 뉴스트리트리서치 분석가는 "엔비디아 주가는 지난해 약 240% 상승한 데 이어 올해도 156% 급등하며 가치를 인정받고 있다"며 "그동안 주가가 충분히 상승했다"고 분석했다.

다만 그는 목표 주가는 현재 125.83달러보다 8% 높은 135달러로 제시했다.그는 "추가적인 상승 여력은 2025년 이후에도 실질적으로 좋아진다는 낙관적인 상황에서 실현될 것"이라며 "아직 이 시나리오에 대한 확신은 없다"고 설명했다.

지난주 120달러에 횡보하는 등 최근 엔비디아 주가가 주춤하고 있지만,라리가 우승여전히 월가에서는 AI 칩 시장에서 80%가 넘는 점유율을 차지하고 있는 엔비디아 주식에 대한 긍정적인 평가를 내놓고 있다.

엔비디아 주가에 대한 전망을 내놓는 분석가 중 90%가 매수 등급을 부여하고 있는 상황에서 이번 이례적인 보고서가 주목받고 있다.팁랭스닷컴에 따르면 현재 월가에서 엔비디아를 분석하는 41명의 분석가 가운데 중립 의견을 보유한 분석가는 3명뿐이다.나머지는 모두 매수나 강력 매수 의견을 내놨다.

올해 엔비디아에 대한 투자 등급을 내린 기관은 뉴스트리트 리서치를 포함해 두 곳뿐이었다.독일의 DZ은행이 지난 5월 '매수'에서 '중립'으로 투자 등급을 내린 바 있다.
