2천억 현금 확보부진한 실적 등으로 위기에 직면한 미국 반도체 기업 인텔이 반도체 설계업체 암(Arm) 홀딩스 지분을 전량 매각했다.

13일(현지시간) 블룸버그 통신에 따르면 인텔은 이날 미 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 제출한 서류에서 3개월 전 보유했던 Arm 주식 118만주를 더는 보유하지 않고 있다고 밝혔다.2분기에 Arm 주식을 모두 매각했다는 의미다.

블룸버그는 Arm 주식의 2분기 평균 가격인 주당 124.34달러를 기준으로 계산하면 인텔이 이번 지분 매각을 통해 약 1억4700만달러(약 2001억원)를 확보한 것으로 추정했다.
