(거제=연합뉴스) 이준영 기자 = 한화오션 거제사업장이 15일 하루 총파업에 돌입했다.

전국금속노조 대우조선지회(한화오션 노조)는 이날 오전 9시부터 오후 5시까지 파업권을 행사한다고 밝혔다.

앞서 한화오션 노조는 지난 8일부터 9일까지 열린 조합원 임시총회에서 조합원 86％ 찬성으로 쟁의권을 확보했다.

한화노션 노조는 지난 5월 말 사측과의 임단협 상견례를 시작으로 협상을 진행 중이지만 사측이 이렇다 할 입장을 밝히지 않자 파업을 택했다.

다만 현재 한화오션 거제사업장 내 작업은 대부분 정상적으로 진행 중이다.

한화오션 노조 관계자는 "노사관계가 삐걱거리는 것을 넘어 파국으로 치닫고 있다"며 "사측이 계속 답변을 미루고 있어 앞으로 파업을 통해 회사를 압박할 계획이다"고 말했다.

한화오션 관계자는 "현재 일부 노조원들이 파업에 참여하고 있는 것으로 안다"며 "회사는 노조와 지속적인 대화를 통해 임단협을 이어가겠다"고 말했다.
