대한의사협회(의협)의 공정거래법 위반 혐의에 대해 공정거래위원회가 조사에 착수했습니다.

공정위는 오늘(19일) 오전부터 서울 용산구에 있는 의협회관으로 조사관들을 보내 관련 자료를 확보하고 있습니다.

의협의 의사결정 과정과 협회원 규약 등과 관련한 자료를 들여다보는 것으로 전해졌습니다.

앞서 공정위는 그제(17일) 보건복지부로부터 의사협회가 공정거래법을 위반했다는 신고를 접수했습니다.

공정위는 이번 집단 휴진을 '사업자 단체 금지행위' 위반으로 볼 여지가 있는지 검토해왔습니다.

사업자단체 금지행위는 사업자단체가 일정한 거래 분야에서 현재 또는 장래의 사업자 수를 제한하거나 구성 사업자의 활동을 부당하게 제한하는 행위 등에 인정됩니다.
