이번 결정으로 오송 제3생명과학 국가산업단지의 토지거래허가구역은 당초 6.93㎢에서 4.25㎢로 축소됐다.
지정 기간은 2027년 9월 19일까지이며,허가구역으로 지정된 지역의 토지를 거래할 경우 용도지역별로 일정 면적을 초과하면 청주시장의 허가를 받아야 한다.
만약 허가를 받지 않고 토지거래계약을 체결하거나 목적대로 이용하지 않으면 '부동산 거래신고 등에 관한 법률'에 따라 벌금 또는 이행강제금 등이 부과된다.
도는 이번 토지거래허가구역 해제로 도민의 재산권 행사에 불편함이 해소될 것으로 기대하며,몽스조정된 지역에 대해서는 토지거래 모니터링을 실시해 토지의 투기적인 거래를 차단하는 등 적극 관리해 나갈 방침이다.
한편 충북도내 토지거래허가구역으로 지정된 곳은 청주시 오송 제3생명과학 국가산업단지,몽스분평2 공공주택지구,에어로폴리스 3지구,오송 철도클러스터 국가산업단지 4개 지구 13.58㎢,충주시 바이오헬스 국가산업단지 1개 지구 2.33㎢ 등 모두 5개 지구 15.91㎢로 충청북도 총면적의 0.21%에 해당한다.
