전직 교회 담임목사가 여성 신도들을 상대로 성범죄를 저질러 구속됐다.

2일 뉴시스에 따르면 이날 경기 의왕경서는 준강간,영화 더 배트맨에 영향을 미친 DC 코믹스 원작 세트강제추행,영화 더 배트맨에 영향을 미친 DC 코믹스 원작 세트아동·청소년의 성보호에 관한 법률 위반 등 혐의로 A씨(69)를 구속했다고 밝혔다.

A씨는 군포시의 한 교회 담임목사로 재직하던 2015년부터 2021년 사이 여성 신도 8명을 상대로 성범죄를 저지른 혐의를 받는다.

경찰은 일부 피해자 중 미성년자 시절 피해를 본 사실을 확인한 뒤 A씨에게 아청법 위반 혐의도 적용했다.

경찰 측 관계자는 "일부 혐의는 공소시효가 완성돼 처벌할 수 있는 혐의에 대해서만 구속영장을 신청해 발부받았다"고 말했다.
