서울시는 시중에 유통되는 의약외품 마스크 50개 중 5개는 품질 기준 미달인 것으로 조사됐다고 18일 밝혔다.

서울시보건환경연구원은 지난 3~5월 보건용(KF80·94),바카라 전략슈비말차단용(KF-AD),수술용 마스크 50개의 형상(머리끈 길이),분진 포집 효율,바카라 전략슈안면부 흡기 저항(숨쉬기 편한 정도),색소·형광증백제·폼알데하이드 검출 여부 등을 검사했다.

검사 결과 보건용 마스크 4개는 분진 포집 효율이 기준 미달이었다.수술용 마스크 1개는 형상이 부적합했다.

의약외품 마스크는 종류,제품 명칭,제조 번호,사용 기한,규격을 표시해야 한다.연구원은 14개 마스크가 이를 지키지 않은 것을 확인해 관할 지방식약청에 통보했다.무허가 제조·판매 마스크는 약사법 위반으로 고발했다.

연구원은 보건용 마스크를 구매할 때 의약외품 표시가 있는지 확인해야 한다고 당부했다.박주성 서울시보건환경연구원장은 “마스크는 시민이 일상에서 자주 사용하는 제품인 만큼 품질 감시를 강화하겠다”고 했다.
