조두순[사진출처=연합뉴스]야간외출 제한 명령을 어기고 집 밖으로 무단 외출한 혐의로 항소심에서 징역 3개월을 선고받은 조두순(71)이 만기 출소했다.

19일 경기 안산단원경찰서에 따르면 전자장치 부착 등에 관한 법률 위반 혐의로 징역 3개월을 선고받은 조두순은 이날 오전 9시쯤 안산시 단원구에 소재한 주거지로 돌아갔다.

조 씨는 지난해 12월 4일 오후 9시 5분쯤 경기 안산시 단원구 소재 거주지에서 나와 약 40분간 무단 외출한 혐의로 기소됐다.

조 씨는 위치추적 전자장치(전자발찌) 부착 기간인 2027년 12월까지 야간(오후 9시~오전 6시) 외출이 금지된 상태다.

조 씨는 무단 외출 때 주거지 인근 경찰 방범초소 등지를 배회한 것으로 알려졌다.그는 폐쇄회로(CC)TV 관제센터로부터 위반 경보를 접수한 안산보호관찰소 보호관찰관이 현장에 출동한 이후에야 귀가했다.당시 그는 “아내와 다투고 나왔다”며 무단 외출 사실을 인정했다.

이에 앞서 조 씨는 2008년 12월 경기 안산시 단원구에서 초등학교 1학년 여학생을 납치해 화장실에서 성폭행한 혐의로 징역 12년을 선고받고 복역한 뒤 2020년 12월 출소했다.

법원은 출소한 조 씨에게 야간 외출 금지와 음주(0.03% 이상) 금지,기아야구티켓교육시설 출입 금지,기아야구티켓피해자와 연락·접촉(주거지 200m 이내) 금지 등 특별준수사항도 명령했다.

조 씨는 올 3월 20일 1심 판결 후 법정 구속됐다.
