19일 주간조선에 따르면 가해자 A씨는 지난 18일 사직서를 제출한 상태다.

밀양시청 관계자는 "밀양시시설관리공단은 밀양시청 산하 공공기관이기 때문에 (사직서를 수리하기 위해선) 신원 조회를 해야 한다"며 "신원 조회를 의뢰해 놓은 상태이기 때문에 완료되는 대로 사직서가 수리될 것"이라고 밝혔다.

유튜브 채널 '나락보관소'는 지난 7일 '밀양 집단 성폭행 사건' 네 번째 가해자로 A씨를 지목하며 본명과 나이를 밝혔다.또 과거 하사관으로 근무하며 2010년 KBS 시사교양 프로그램 '다큐 3일'에 출연했던 것과 밀양시 산하기관인 밀양시시설관리공단에 근무 중임을 알렸다.

영상 공개 후에는 공공기관 게시판에 "여기가 강간범이 일하는 곳이냐" 등 비난 글이 게재됐다.
