(남원=연합뉴스) 나보배 기자 = 전북 남원경찰서는 고속도로에서 음주 측정을 거부한 혐의(도로교통법상 음주 측정 거부)로 남원시 6급 공무원 A씨를 조사 중이라고 10일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난달 31일 오전 1시께 순천∼완주고속도로 하행선(광주 방향)에서 경찰의 음주측정을 3차례 거부한 혐의를 받고 있다.

당시 순찰을 하던 도로교통공사 직원은 갓길에 차량을 정차한 채 잠을 자고 있던 A씨를 발견해 경찰에 신고했다.

현장에 도착한 경찰은 A씨가 음주 측정을 3차례 거부함에 따라 그를 체포했다.

경찰 관계자는 "고속도로순찰대에서 사건을 인계받았다"며 "A씨가 마신 술의 양과 주행 거리 등을 확인하고 있다"고 말했다.
