[헤럴드경제=김유진 기자] 방탄소년단(BTS) 멤버 진(본명 김석진·32)의 전역 기념행사에서 그에게 기습적으로 입을 맞춘 여성 팬에 대해 경찰이 내사(입건 전 조사)에 착수했다.

서울 송파경찰서는 진에게 뽀뽀를 시도한 팬을 성폭력 처벌법 위반 혐의로 수사해 달라는 고발장과 관련한 내사에 착수한 것으로 알려졌다.

18일 한 온라인 커뮤니티에는‘경찰이 진을 성추행한 가해자들에 대해 내사 착수했다’는 제목의 글이 올라왔다.민원을 제기한 작성자 A씨가‘입건 전 조사 진행 상황 통지서’를 공개한 게시물이다.통지서에는 “귀하의 사건은 서울 송파경찰서에 사건 접수돼 조사 진행 중입니다”라는 문구가 적혀 있었다.

A씨는 담당 경찰관과 전화로 나눈 대화 내용도 공개했다.성추행 사실이 명확하다고 해도 피해자(진) 측이‘성적 수치심’을 느껴야 추행죄가 성립된다.진 측이 수사를 원치 않거나 출석요구에 응하지 않으면 강제조치를 할 수 없다는 내용이다.

앞서 SNS와 온라인 커뮤니티를 중심으로 진을 성추행한 여성은 일본 블로거일 거란 추측이 나왔다.이에 일부 팬들은 국민신문고를 통해 송파경찰서에 출국금지를 요청하는 진정을 추가로 제기했다.

한편 진은 지난 12일 경기 연천 소재 육군 제5보병사단 신병교육대대에서 육군 현역 복무를 마치고 만기 전역했다.전역 다음 날 약 3시간 동안 1000여명의 팬과 포옹하는‘허그회’자리에서 일부 팬들이 기습 뽀뽀를 시도해 논란이 됐다.
