LG전자가 선 없이 TV를 볼 수 있는‘무선 전송’성능과 인공지능(AI) 기능을 강화한 2024년형 무선 올레드 TV(사진)를 한국을 포함한 전 세계 시장에 출시한다고 30일 발표했다.

무선 올레드 TV는 셋톱박스 등 외부 기기를 케이블이 아니라 무선 전송 솔루션으로 연결한 제품으로 LG전자가 지난해 처음 출시했다.인테리어를 중시하는 고객들의 관심을 받고 있다.올해 제품의 가장 큰 특징은 화면을 부드럽게 보이도록 하는‘주사율’이 높아진 것이다.4K 해상도(화소 수 가로 3840개·세로 2160개) TV 기준 주사율이 기존 102헤르츠(Hz)에서 144Hz로 올라갔다.

안정적인 무선 전송이 가능한 것도 장점으로 분석된다.60기가헤르츠(㎓) 고대역 주파수를 활용해 일반 와이파이와의 간섭이 일어나지 않도록 한 게 대표적이다.작년 출시된 제품 대비 네 배 강력해진 AI 성능을 갖춘‘알파11 프로세서’를 적용해 화질과 음질을 개선했다.스마트 TV 플랫폼‘웹 OS’에도 다양한 AI 기능이 추가됐다.예컨대 리모컨에 “내 계정에 로그인해줘”라고 말하면 AI가 목소리를 인식해 해당 계정에 로그인한다.

화면 크기는 기존 97형(화면 대각선 길이 246㎝),계산택지쓰리노83형,계산택지쓰리노77형에 더해 올해 65형이 추가됐다.박형세 LG전자 홈엔터테인먼트(HE)사업본부장(사장)은 “더 강력해진 무선 기술과 AI 성능이 장점”이라며 “깔끔한 공간과 압도적인 시청 경험 모두를 원하는 글로벌 고객에게 차원이 다른 감동을 제공하겠다”고 말했다.
