대규모 정보 유출 문제로 일본 정부로부터 네이버와 자본 관계를 재검토하라는 행정지도를 받은 라인 애플리케이션 운영사인 라인야후가 네이버와 관계 단절에 속도를 냅니다.

이데자와 다케시 라인야후 최고경영자(CEO)는 오늘(18일) 도쿄에서 열린 주주총회에서 보안 대책 강화와 관련해 "당사(라인야후)는 네이버 클라우드와 종업원용 시스템과 인증 기반 분리를 2024년도 중으로 완료하도록 추진하고 있다"고 밝혔습니다.

또 "당사 자회사는 2026년도 중으로 (네이버와) 시스템 분리 완료를 예정했으나 한층 앞당길 수 있도록 계획을 책정할 것"이라고 덧붙였습니다.

이데자와 CEO는 또 "서비스 사업 영역에서도 거의 모든 (일본) 국내용 서비스 사업 영역에서 네이버와 위탁 관계를 종료하겠다"고 설명했습니다.

보안 대책 강화 방안과 관련한 구체적인 계획은 7월에 공표하겠다고 덧붙였다.

네이버와 자본 관계 재검토 문제에 대해서는 언급하지 않았지만 사전질의 답변서에서 "네이버에 맡긴 업무의 본질을 재검토하고 있다"며 "자본 관계 변경과 관련해선 결정할 수 있는 입장이 아니지만,야구 우비모회사(소프트뱅크) 등에 검토 요청을 실시하고 있다"고 설명했습니다.

앞서 일본 총무성은 지난 3∼4월 라인야후에 사이버 보안 강화를 요구하는 두 차례 행정지도를 실시하며 다음 달 1일까지 구체적인 대응책을 제시하도록 요구했습니다.

특히 행정지도 내용에 자본관계 재검토 요구가 포함돼 일본이 네이버로부터 라인야후 경영권을 탈취한다는 의혹이 제기된 바 있습니다.
