중부지방을 중심으로 내린 집중호우로 1만㏊(1㏊는 1만㎡) 넘는 넓이의 농작물이 물에 잠겼다.폐사한 닭도 77만마리도 늘어났다.

농림축산식품부는 12일 전국 농작물 침수 면적이 전날 오후 6시 기준 1만342㏊로 집계됐다고 밝혔다.이는 축구장 1만4000개 면적보다 큰 규모다.

폭우로 금호강의 수위가 높아진 지난 10일 오후 대구시 동구 금강동의 한 농지가 물에 잠겼다.뉴시스 호우 피해가 집계되면서 침수 면적이 하루 만에 800㏊가량 늘었다. 농작물 피해가 가장 큰 곳은 충남으로 7423㏊가 침수됐다.다음으로는 경북(1652㏊),양원숲도서관전북(1039㏊) 순이다.

농작물 품목별로 보면 벼가 7581㏊로 대부분이다.콩은 580㏊,고추는 352㏊가 각각 침수됐으며 수박(174㏊),포도(165㏊),양원숲도서관참외(230㏊),복숭아(117㏊) 등 과일·과채류도 침수 피해를 봤다.상추(120㏊),토마토(95㏊) 등도 피해가 있었다.

이번 호우로 닭 77만마리가 폐사했다. 농식품부는 장마,폭염 등 기상 상황에 따른 수급 불안정 위험을 주시하고 있다.
