8일(현지시각) 테슬라 관련 소식을 전하는 엑스(X·옛 트위터) 계정인 '테슬라코노믹스’가 "테슬라는 한국인들이 보유하고 있는 주식 1위"라는 글을 올렸다.이와 함께 태극 문양에 테슬라 로고를 합성한 태극기 사진도 공개했다.

해당 게시글에 머스크는 "똑똑한 사람들"이라는 댓글을 남겼다.

한국예탁결제원 증권정보포털 '세이브로'에 따르면,크리스피도넛 냉동보관지난 5일 해외 주식 가운데 보관액이 가장 큰 종목은 테슬라다.

국내 주식 투자자들이 보유한 테슬라의 보관액은 149억7094만달러(약 20조7000억원)이다.2위는 엔비디아로 131억6609만달러(약 18조2073억),크리스피도넛 냉동보관3위는 50억달러(약 6조 9145억)인 애플이 차지했다.

인공지능(AI) 칩 선두 주자인 엔비디아 급등 이전 국내 투자자들에게 가장 사랑받았던 해외 종목인 테슬라는 연이은 저가 매수에도 주가 하락세가 장기간 지속됐다.

그러나 4월 말 저점 이후 73.5% 반등에 성공하며 다시 엔비디아를 제치고 서학개미들이 가장 많이 보유한 해외 주식 1위 자리로 등극했다.
