(광주=연합뉴스) 천정인 기자 = 전남 화순군청이 발주한 폐쇄회로TV 설치 및 유지관리 업무 등을 수주할 수 있도록 도와주는 대가로 뇌물을 받은 전직 공무원이 징역형을 선고받았다.

광주지법 형사6단독 김지연 부장판사는 뇌물수수 혐의로 기소된 전 화순군청 공무원 A씨에 대해 징역 4개월에 집행유예 2년,미국 복권 자판기벌금 700만원을 선고했다고 11일 밝혔다.

A씨에게 금품을 건넨 혐의(뇌물공여)로 기소된 통신장비 설치 업자 B씨에게는 벌금 700만원을 선고했다.

재판부는 "업무 관련성이 크고 주고받은 금품의 액수도 작지 않다"면서도 "잘못을 시인하고 있고 이 사건으로 공직에서 해임된 점 등을 고려해 형을 정했다"고 판시했다.

A씨는 2021년 9월 광주 남구 한 식당에서 B씨와 만나 CCTV 장비 계약 등 화순군청과 체결하는 계약과 관리·감독 과정에서 편의를 봐주기로 하고 현금 300만원을 받은 혐의로 기소됐다.
