고금리·고환율 장기화와 국제정세의 불확실성 속에서도 국내 대기업 10곳 중 9곳은 올해 하반기에 상반기와 비슷하거나 더 큰 규모의 투자를 이어갈 것으로 나타났습니다.

한국경제인협회(한경협)는 여론조사기관 모노리서치에 의뢰해 매출 500대 기업을 대상으로 올해 하반기 국내 투자계획을 조사한 결과 응답 기업 132개사 중 74.2%(98개)는 상반기와 비슷한 규모로 투자하겠다고 답했다고 오늘(8일) 밝혔습니다.

상반기보다 투자 규모를 확대하겠다는 응답은 16.7%(22개)였고,비가오면 비를 맞고 걸어가요줄이겠다는 비율은 9.1%(12개)였습니다.

하반기 투자를 늘리겠다고 한 기업들은 '노후화된 기존 설비 교체·개선'과 '업황 개선 기대감'(각 31.8%)을 주된 이유로 꼽았습니다.'불황기 적극적인 투자로 경쟁력을 확보하겠다'는 응답도 13.7% 나왔습니다.

투자를 축소하겠다는 기업들은 '고금리 등 글로벌 통화 긴축 지속 전망'(33.4%),비가오면 비를 맞고 걸어가요'원가 상승에 따른 리스크 확대'(16.7%) 등을 우려했습니다.

기업들은 국내 투자환경 개선을 위한 정책과제로 기업 규제 완화(25.0%)를 가장 많이 들었습니다.

아울러 응답 기업 중 43.9%는 하반기 인공지능(AI) 투자를 계획(10.6%)했거나 검토(33.3%) 중인 것으로 나타났습니다.

이상호 한경협 경제산업본부장은 "기업들이 투자 여력을 확충할 수 있도록 세제지원 확대와 규제 완화를 추진하는 한편,비가오면 비를 맞고 걸어가요연구개발(R&D) 인센티브를 통해 미래산업에 대한 투자를 유도해야 한다"고 말했습니다.
