[서울=뉴시스]정진형 기자 = GS건설의 모듈러 주택 전문 자회사 '자이가이스트'(XiGEIST)가 경동나비엔과 협약을 통해 IoT(사물인터넷) 기술을 본격 도입한다고 4일 밝혔다.

자이가이스트의 모듈러 주택에 경동나비엔의 IoT기술을 적용함으로써,스마트폰을 통해 원격으로 보일러,고스톱 나가리환기청정기,일괄소등 스위치 등을 제어할 수 있으며,특히 동절기 네트워크 스위치를 통해 열선을 원격으로 제어할 수 있어 상수관 동파 위험을 방지할 수 있게 된다.

또한 집안에 설치된 침입감지센서를 통해 불법 침입이 감지되면 스마트폰으로 알려주고,폐쇄회로(CC)TV 카메라로 확인 가능해져 보안기능이 한층 강화됐다.

최근 정부는 지방소멸에 대응하기 위해 1주택 소유자가 인구감소지역 공시가 4억원 이하 주택 구입시에도 1주택으로 인정하는 '세컨드홈' 활성화 정책을 추진하고 있다.이런 가운데 모듈러 주택에 도입될 IoT 기술을 통해 원거리에 있는 주택 관리 불안이 상당부분 해소될 수 있다는 기대가 나온다.

자이가이스트는 이번 '경동나비엔 홈 IoT 패키지'를 세컨드 홈 수요를 겨냥해 개발한 상품 RM에 먼저 적용할 예정이며,7월 RM 상품 계약자에 한해 무상설치 프로모션을 진행할 예정이다.

향후 경동나비엔과 지속적인 협업을 통해 화재 발생시 스마트폰 알림 서비스,고스톱 나가리CCTV 스마트폰 녹화 서비스 등 단독주택 라이프에 맞춤형 IoT 상품을 추가로 개발,적용해 나갈 계획이다.
