'전공의 집단사직' 의협 수사는 마무리 수순

[서울=뉴시스]임철휘 기자 = 고려제약의 불법 리베이트 의혹를 수사하고 있는 경찰이 최근 고려제약 지방영업소 6곳과 영업사원 10명을 상대로 압수수색을 진행했다고 15일 밝혔다.

조지호 서울경찰청장은 이날 정례 기자간담회에서 관련 질의에 "약 열흘 전에 고려제약 지방영업소 6개소와 영업사원 10명에 대한 압수수색을 진행했다"며 현재 압수물을 분석 중이라고 밝혔다.

앞서 경찰은 지난 8일 고려제약으로부터 리베이트를 수수한 혐의로 의사 119명을 입건해 수사 중이라고 밝힌 바 있다.

이와 관련 조 청장은 이날 "입건된 119명 중 절반 정도에 대해 조사를 마쳤다"며 "(119명은) 고정된 숫자가 분명히 아니다"라고 추가 입건 가능성을 시사했다.

그러면서 "2020년 이전 사건이라도 (불법이) 만약 확인되면 확인을 안하진 않을 것"이라며 수사 확대 가능성을 언급했다.

전공의 집단사직을 교사한 혐의로 입건된 대한의사협회(의협) 전·현직 간부들에 대한 수사는 마무리 단계에 접어들었다.

조 청장은 관련 질의에 "거의 마무리 수순"이라며 "지난주 의협 관계자 1명을 조사했고 2명 정도만 더 소환조사하면 의협 관계자들에 대한 수사는 마무리될 것이다.아마 이달 중 마무리되지 않을까 싶다"고 했다.
