최근 르노코리아가 남성 혐오 논란에 휩싸인 가운데,이번엔 한국 축구의 상징인 손흥민 선수에게까지 '집게 손' 이미지를 적용한 카툰 이미지가 공개돼 논란이 되고 있다.

6일 인터넷 커뮤니티 보배드림에 따르면 지난 2일 '손흥민까지 건드린 망할 손가락'이라는 제목의 글과 함께 몇 장의 만화 이미지가 올라왔다.

해당 이미지는 축구 국가대표팀 '캡틴'으로 연상되는 축구선수가 소위 남혐을 상징하는 'ㄷ'자 집게 손 모양을 하고 있다.

이 이미지의 축구 선수는 손흥민 선수가 소속팀 토트넘과 국가대표팀의 유니폼 등번호인 7번을 달고 있다.또 헤어스타일과 얼굴 표정 등도 손흥민은 연상시킨다.해당 주인공의 이름도 손흥민이다.

다만 해당 이미지가 어느 작품에 등장하는지는 공개되지 않았다.

글쓴이는 "이건 선 넘었는데.이 정도면 사회 곳곳에 엄청나게 침투해 있다는건데"라고 우려했다.

해당 글은 조회수 2만3000개 이상,200개 이상의 추천을 받았다.

특히 한 누리꾼은 "손흥민 골 세레머니 하는 것 봐라.손모양을 저렇게 하는지"라며 "카툰의 내용 전개가 어떤 상황인지는 모르지만 저렇게 엄지와 검지를 제외한 나머지 세 손가락을 접을 상황이 뭐가 있을까"라고 꼬집었다.

앞서 르노코리아는 지난달 28일 사내 홍보용 유튜브 채널인 '르노 인사이드'에 올라온 신차 '그랑 클레오스' 영상에서 한 여성 매니저가 'ㄷ'자 손 모양을 수차례 반복 보여줘 논란이 됐다.

르노코리아 측은 즉각 해당 매니저를 직무 정지시키고,해당 유튜브 채널 커뮤니티에 사과문을 올렸지만 이날까지 1만1000개가 넘는 항의글이 이어지고 있고,나폴리 날씨르노 프랑스 본사에도 항의하고 있다.
