(보령=연합뉴스) 이주형 기자 = 충남 보령 독산해수욕장 앞바다에서 10대 물놀이객이 표류하다 인근 어선에 구조됐다.

29일 보령해경에 따르면 이날 낮 12시57분께 소방당국으로부터 표류자 발생 신고를 받고 구조대,아시아 월드컵 3차예선연안 구조정을 급파하는 한편,아시아 월드컵 3차예선인근 해상에 있는 어선들에도 구조 협조 요청을 했다.

에어매트에 몸을 의지한 채 바다로 떠내려가던 A(11)양은 신고접수 12분 만인 오후 1시 9분께 7.93t급 낚시 어선에 의해 구조됐다.

A양은 이날 에어매트를 타고 해수욕장에서 물놀이하던 중,아시아 월드컵 3차예선물에 빠진 동생의 신발을 주우려다 표류한 것으로 조사됐다.

다행히 건강 상태에는 이상이 없는 것으로 확인됐다.

보령해경은 A양을 보호자에게 인계하는 한편 구조에 나선 50대 선장에게 감사장을 수여할 계획이다.

보령해경 관계자는 "본격적인 여름철 물놀이가 시작됨에 따라 안전 수칙을 숙지해야 한다"며 "특히 아이들과 함께 해수욕장을 찾은 방문객들은 수상 사고 예방에 신경 써달라"고 전했다.
