일본이 오늘 새로 개발한 주력 대형 로켓 발사에 성공했습니다.

로켓에 탑재돼 있던 지구 관측 위성을 궤도에 안정적으로 투입시켰습니다.

도쿄 지종익 특파원의 보도입니다.

일본 남부 가고시마현에서 발사된 로켓 H3 3호기.

굉음과 화염을 내뿜으며 하늘로 솟아오릅니다.

[일본우주항공연구개발기구(JAXA) 유튜브 실시간 중계 : "H3 로켓 3호기는 2024년 7월 1일 12시 6분 42초에 다네가시마 우주센터에서 발사됐습니다."]

발사 17분 뒤 H3 3호기는 탑재돼 있던 지구관측위성 다이치 4호를 예정대로 궤도에 투입시키는 데 성공했습니다.

다이치 4호에서 내보낸 전파가 지표에 반사되면서 확인된 데이터를 토대로 화산 활동이나 재해 피해 상황 등을 보다 신속하게 파악할 수 있을 것으로 기대되고 있습니다.

H3 로켓은 일본우주항공연구개발기구 JAXA와 미쓰비시중공업이 위성 발사 사업을 추진하기 위해 개발한 대형 로켓입니다.

현재 일본의 주력 기종인 H2A 로켓보다 엔진 한 기당 추진력이 40%가량 강한 데 반해,rc 스트라스부르 대 psg 라인업발사 비용은 절반 수준입니다.

기존 H2A 로켓은 올해 50호기를 마지막으로 운용을 끝내고,내년부터 신형 기종인 H3로 모두 전환됩니다.

일본 정부는 우주 기본 계획에 따라 2032년까지 H3 로켓을 최소 22차례 발사하기로 하는 등 우주 개발 투자를 대폭 늘려가고 있습니다.
