[천안]천안 지역의 한 경찰 지구대 대장이 여경을 추행한 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다.

대전지법 천안지원 형사1단독(부장판사 김은영)은 14일 강제추행 혐의로 구속기소된 천안지역 경찰서 소속 A경정(50대)에 대한 첫 공판을 진행했다.

검찰 공소요지에 따르면 A경정은 경찰서 지구대 대장으로 지난 3월 26일 오후 7시쯤 천안시 서북구의 한 식당에서 직원들과 회식 중 옆 자리에 앉아 있던 여성 경찰의 신체를 만진 혐의를 받고 있다.

같은 날 A경정은 회식자리를 마치고 지구대로 돌아와 또 다른 여경을 추행한 혐의도 받는다.

A경정은 범행 다음날 직위가 해제됐다.경찰은 A경정의 징계절차를 밟고 있다.

A경정 측 변호인은 "변명의 여지가 없는 사건으로 범행을 모두 인정한다.피해자들에게 사죄하고 용서받고 싶지만 2차 가해가 우려돼 연락할 수 없는 상황"이라며 "합의를 위해 속행을 희망한다"고 말했다.

재판은 다음달 5일 속행한다.
