HLB[자료=HLB]미국 식품의약국(FDA)의 신약 승인 불씨가 되살아나자 HLB그룹주의 주가도 회복세에 접어들었다.HLB는‘간암 신약’승인 불발로 빼앗겼던 코스닥 바이오 대장주 자리를 향해 진격하는 모습이다.

5일 한국거래소에 따르면 이날 오전 11시 55분 기준 HLB는 전날보다 10.6% 오른 9만800원에 거래되고 있다.

HLB는 FDA로부터 보완 요구 서한(CRL)을 받았다고 밝힌 지난 5월 17일부터 2거래일 연속 하한가를 맞는 등 당시 주가가 반토막 수준으로 떨어졌다.

이후 HLB는 지난 3일 FDA와의 미팅을 마치고 재심사를 추진한다고 밝히면서 이날 상한가를 기록하는 등 3거래일 연속으로 상승세를 이어가고 있다.

HLB는 시총이 한때 6조원 수준으로 추락했으나 최근 10조원대를 회복하면서 코스닥 바이오 대장주 알테오젠을 추격하는 상황이다.

HLB제약은 같은 시간 주가가 13.13% 상승하며 3거래일째 상승세가 이어지고 있다.지난 3일 상한가를 기록했다가 이튿날 하락전환한 HLB생명과학도 9.51% 오르는 중이다.

HLB테라퓨틱스(6.41%),요커 베이글HLB이노베이션(6.76%),HLB바이오스텝(7.21%),HLB파나진(21.52%) 등 다른 HLB 그룹주도 동반 상승하고 있다.

HLB 그룹주는 표적 항암제인‘리보세라닙’과 항서제약이 개발한 면역항암제‘캄렐리주맙’의 병용 요법에 대한 FDA의 승인 가능성이 커지면서 그간의 하락세를 만회하는 모습이다.

HLB는 지난 3일 FDA가 보완 요청으로 지연됐던 심사를 속행하기 위해 재심사 신청서 제출을 권고했다고 밝혔다.

HLB에 따르면 이번에 FDA가 전달한 공식문서(PAL)에는 항서제약이 캄렐리주맙 화학·제조·품질(CMC) 실사와 관련해 추가로 제출할 서류가 없다는 내용이 포함됐다.

앞으로 품목허가신청서(BLA)만 다시 제출하면 FDA가 심사기간 내에 승인 여부를 결정하게 되기에‘신약 승인’불확실성이 줄어든 셈이다.
